At Playa Punta Dominical or Playa Dominicalito admire the impressive rock formations, get some sun and visit the nearby restaurants. If you are seeking seclusion, Playa Hermosa or Playa Bellena in the heart of Bellena National Marine Park offer you miles of soft sand for that long relaxing walk or invigorating jog. Playa Arco with monkeys and waterfalls, Playa Pinuela with calm waters and seafood sold by local fishermen, Playa Tortuga with its wild beauty almost untouched by human beings, Playa Ventanas with its rock windows to the sea and its mysterious caves, each is different and each is captivating.
Tours - Nearby Hacienda Baru, an 800 acre world famous private rainforest biological preserve, offers a jungle canopy observation platform, Flight of the Toucan zip lines and many trails (self-guided or with a knowledgeable bilingual guide) where it is possible to view wildlife including monkeys, toucans and sloths. Horseback riding tours are available to 213 foot Nauyaca Waterfall, one of the most beautiful in Central America, or to the local beaches.
